The new 2nd generation iPhone SE is coming to Malaysia very soon. The new iPhone SE looks much like the iPhone 8 features a 4.7-inch Retina display and packs an Apple A13 Bionic chip, an impressive camera system, and a 12-hour battery life. The affordable iPhone is available in three colour options – black, green, and Red Apple, as well as three storage configurations of 64 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB.
The iPhone SE is currently available for pre-order in first wave countries such as the United States, Australia and Singapore, and will reach the store this Friday. We believe that the smartphone could be launched in Malaysia as early as the first week of May.
Below is the official pricing in Malaysia:
iPhone SE 2020
64GB – RM1,999
128GB – RM2,199
256GB – RM2,699
As usual, Apple doesn’t disclose its battery life but is expected to last as long as the iPhone 8 does. It will support wireless charging as well as fast wired charging with an 18W USB-PD power brick sold separately.
The device also has IP67 rated dust and water resistance and it supports 802.11ax WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0 as well as Dual-SIM via an eSIM.
U Mobile Contract
Similar to its iPhone 11 package, U Mobile is expected to sell the iPhone SE on its U Package upgrade plan with a 24-month contract. At the moment, U Mobile has not announced specifics of its iPhone SE contract, but would normally bundle new iPhones on either the P99 or P139 postpaid contract that comes with an unlimited quota.
