IE10 for Windows 7 Ready for Free Download

Internet Explorer 10 (IE10), which comes as the default web browser in Windows 8, has been released as a free download for users of Windows 7 systems.

IE10 for Windows 7 is officially released on February 26th, 2013 worldwide for both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows 7, and it’s available in 95 languages.A preview of IE10 for Windows 7 was actually been made available for Windows 7 users since November 2012. These people who installed IE10 Preview will be the first to receive the upgrade to IE10 Final version through Windows Update as “Important Update”, while the rest of Windows 7 users who are still using IE9 will be upgraded automatically and silently in the background over the next few weeks.

According to Microsoft, IE10 on Windows 7 improves performance across the board with faster page loading, faster interactivity and faster JavaScript performance, while reducing CPU usage and improving battery life on mobile PCs. In addition, a privacy-enhancing feature, Do Not Track (DNT) setting, is enabled by default, telling web services not to track you.

IE10 requires Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1).
